Winter Camping: It All Has To End Sometime
Our snow has largely disappeared and left in us in the Spring shoulder season. This can provide some awesome camping experiences with a lot of the advantages of winter camping (few people, great views uninhibited by vegetation) plus moderate temperatures.
We have had nice April trips to Cat Mountain and Tenant Creek Falls (which can be seen this planning discussion, the remains of this coyote feast, this video of the Tenant Creek Falls and our test of a magnesium fire starter).
